Mowinckel Tankers International (MTI) gets second ship
On 06th March 2008, Mowinckel Tankers International took delivery of its second vessel, the 5517 dwt chemical / product tanker MT Lydian. The vessel was constructed by Celik Tekne Shipyard in Tuzla Bay, Turkey, and is the second in a series of 6 sister vessels contracted by MTI. The vessels are of the highest specification including Framo deepwell pumps, Superstripping system, Marine Line coating and full capacity N2 generators.
The MT Lydian has entered a period charter to StatoilHydro.
